Needless to say, we are very excited about Power Ranger and the positive phenotypic and genetic traits he possesses. This boar has had a deadly profile and up headed attitude from day one. Power Ranger comes at you as impressively as any boar anwhere...wide at the ground, wide at the top of his blades, and no buckles or bows in between. He stands square at the ground on big feet with even toes and a deep heel. Power Ranger is wider with curvature in his fore rib than his sire. He also has more depth in his rear flank and a more ideal fleshing ability than his sire. Power Ranger has a deep groove from his blades to his ham-loin junction but still possesses width and dimension from edge to edge. When viewed from behind Power Ranger is wide and square from his pins, his muscle ties deep at his hock and has a deep bulging twist. Power Ranger is out of the 97-10 sow that raised the forever popular Grand Barrow at Ft. Worth in 2011 we call "Ranger". Power Ranger, Ranger, and their dam 97-10 all possess the most desirable features I've ever been able to replicate. Wide skull and big jaw yet pretty headed. Big square front and huge muscular forearm but still have great range of motion. Big square rear foot and bone while still smooth and clean jointed.
Don't be surprised if there are a lot of his offspring in the winner's circle the next few years. |
