We were disappointed when we lost Forgiven this winter, but we are firm believers that everything happens for a reason. On my search to find a replacement, I ran across Lucky Me at Belton. On show day, there were many things I liked about him. He gives you a great look from the profile, he is tall at the point of his shoulder, strong and level in his top, and his tail is placed right where it needs to be. He is thick and expressive from behind, with perfect reach and squareness. Lucky Me has big square feet and is heavy boned but not coarse. He is extremely wide and square at the top side of his blade and maintains that width all the way to his pins. Lucky Me was nowhere at his best at the show, because of a 1000 mile trip and new environment that caused him to not eat or drink. He has adjusted well to his new home and is eating well also. We are very impressed with our new addition. Lucky Me is the product of mating his sire back to his mother. Study the picture of this impressive sow from the Corya herd. Take note...there is no Classic Steal in this pedigree!
